New year, new you, right? As fitness remains as a top resolution year after year, here are some of my personal favorite workout picks for you to check out to kick off your resolutions that you MAY actually hold yourself accountable to 🙂
Rumble
Rumble fit a super fun, high-energy kickboxing class that will surely kick your butt! The instructors are motivating and play the best beats and hip hop remixes. Hence, this class is a blast! You get SO into it that it doesn’t feel like a workout. I can go on and on and on about my undying love for Rumble. It’s truly gotten to the point that my body KRAVES Rumble. That’s when you know it’s real.
What sets Rumble apart from other boxing classes and studios is that Rumble consists of a combination of both strength-training circuits and cardio so it’s dynamic and not monotonous. You won’t be punching a bag for 45-minutes here, unless that’s what you’re looking for then you’re better of punching a wall..The floor combinations consist of basic compound moves that consists of weights and a step. The cardio portion utilizes a teardrop-shaped punching bag that’s filled with water, making it significantly lower impact and more enjoyable to hit than traditional bags.
Plus, there are only a whopping of six boxing moves for you to memorize — no advanced technique required. Just yourself and positive energy! You do two rounds of each, alternating between floor and bag, while the instructor leads both. You won’t have to worry about falling behind or awkwardly watching other classmates to get the moves down because the combo punches are projected onto the walls so you can focus on exerting yourself, rather than worrying about memorizing every move. Above all beyond the class itself, the instructors aren’t only super motivating, but super friendly and down-to-earth as well. So what are you waiting for? Go out there and kick some butt!
Fun Fact: Justin Bieber is an investor in Rumble. Just thought you should know. Hey, that could be a motivating factor for some people..
First-timers get a 2-for-1 deal at $34. After that, each class costs $34 and there are also multiple-packages you can check out. Learn more at Rumble.com.
Pssst..my favorite instructors are Andrew, Christina, and Jeremiah!
